“ One of my top ramen spots in this area. Ever since Sansotei closed down (my previous fav ramen spot), I’ve been finding myself choosing Midori as my #1 choice. Their broth is really flavourful and everything is cooked just right. The atmosphere is light and jazzy and the servers are great at making sure you have all that you need. They also scream your order across the restaurant to the back of house, which is quite funny and feels like a real authentic experience. Pricing is fair. I would definitely recommend this spot for anyone craving a good ramen in the Yonge and finch area! ”
“ If you enjoy rich tonkotsu broth but have never tried paitan (creamy chicken broth), chances are you'll love this avian variation. While Ichiran's secret tonkotsu recipe eliminates the porky smell that most tonkotsu shops retain, some, especially connoisseurs from Fukuoka, appreciate that slightly ammonic bone aroma. However, for newcomers, it can be off-putting. The allure of chicken broth lies in its rich yet clean taste. Feel free to try their signature dish, but my personal favorites are the black garlic followed by spicy versions. If you are closer to downtown, I heard Ikkousha Ramen Chicken is pretty awesome as well. ”
“ I got the black garlic ramen and it was quite good. When you think of the layers of flavour on what makes a good ramen, I think it has every component it needs to create a very good bowl of ramen. We also split some sliced duck breasts which were tasty as well. I will say, it's probably the least amount of chashu you would get for a bowl, only about a slice or two. But it's a tasty bowl and if I get a craving for it again, I may stop by again. ”

I tried the truffle ramen and spicy ramen, and both were exceptional. The truffle ramen had a rich, creamy broth that was incredibly flavorful—definitely my favorite! One thing that really stood out was the generous portion of protein in the bowls, which is noticeably more than what I’ve gotten at places like Kinto Ramen. The spicy ramen had just the right kick without overpowering the flavors. Don’t forget to get your stamping card for a free ramen after collecting points! Highly recommend giving it a try! ”
“ We had both heard about this place more than once about having good ramen and happy to say that Midori exceeded expectations! Gyudon - added some jammy eggs, corn and nori with the dish. It all came together so nicely and everything was super tasty. The creamy broth was good all on its own! Black garlic - the broth was very creamy and tasty. The chicken was good, with lots of flavour. The service was also great, our server was very kind and efficient. We were here on a Tuesday evening :) We will be coming back to try some other dishes! “ Fantastic truffle ramen, really nice people working there they recommended that we get a reservation but it was kind of unnecessary on a Saturday night even. The menu is pretty simple the appetizers are kind of lacking and there's really no dessert options but the ramen bowls are to die for. Probably some of the best ramen in the entire city. It's also appreciated that this is not a played out franchise. ”
